In 2018, I decided that in the future I wanted to be software engineer. Then for two years, I studied Python and frameworks to learn about the web, APIs and the command line.
Then in the spring of 2021, I felt ready to start my professional career. So I did the job search thing, and fortunately found Sensory-Minds. Exactly what I was looking for: in Offenbach, technology company and with a super office space.
Currently I am part of several efforts. On the one hand, I am part of the support team that does technical investigations for bugs and to help the clients. On the other hand, I am part of the Engineering team and do some work to help the other developers. Such as, writing small tools to automate boring tasks and administering servers.
Good question, why this is my passion... Just yesterday, I caught myself dreaming about nginx configs. I am just fascinated by me typing some words on my keyboard and then having an application live worldwide for anybody to use. That is true power.
I view the digital space (cyber space) as the next dimension of reality for us humans. Digital transformation, then, is the process of implementing the "real world" (meatspace) into a digital application/protocol.
In my personal live it means having a .pdf file instead of a piece of paper. Having a Monero wallet instead of a bank account or physical wallet. Encrypting my messages/data with military grade cryptography at no cost at all.
They are really good people.
And I know, I read it before I started in posts much like this one, that everybody feels like family, bla bla bla. BUT IT REALLY IS THIS WAY! And it's a super cool family, that I am glad to be a part of.
